RAIL TANK CAR RESPONSE - 8 HOURS
This 8 hour course pertains to objectives found in Chapter 12 of NFPA 472 – 2018 Edition Standard for Competency of Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction incidents. Also pertains to objectives found in Chapter 7 of NFPA 1072 – 2017 Edition Standard for Hazardous Materials? Weapons of mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professional Qualifications.
Class starts with a class room presentation to complete the objectives, then a practical skill session will begin using the rail car simulator and the dome simulator. Students will have a opportunity to develop techniques to install a C Kit on a leaking rail car while in Level A PPE
