NOW IS THE TIME TO GET TRAINED

Propane emergencies is designed for all firefighters who may be called upon when propane is inadvertently released from its container.

The course starts with a four hour classroom presentation on the physical properties of liquified petroleum and more specifically, propane.

This session is followed by hands-on live fire evolutions, demonstration the proper techniques for gaining access to a propane device leaking its product.

HOST DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS
A large enough space to park the LPG simulators and allow 50 feet minimum clearance on all sides.
A classroom will be necessary for the inside presentation. It should be large enough to accommodate the class, and have limited interference and distractions.

Full protective equipment is required to participate in the live fire evolutions and receive a certificate, including SCBA.
