FOAM RESPONSE TRAINING

Today's firefighters are being faced with an increasing number of flammable liquid and hazardous vapor risks, traffic accidents, rail disasters, industrial accidents, even a mishap at a local high school or department store can result in a flammable liquid or hazardous vapor incident.

This flammable liquid program is developed by National Foam and is considered one of the most comprehensive foam fire fighting programs in the nation.

This course starts with a four hour classroom presentation on the physical properties of petroleum based products and foam.

This session is followed by hands-on evolutions, demonstrating the proper setup of application devices, troubleshooting educators and nozzles, and the proper application techniques of foam.

Full personal protective equipment is required to participate in the live fire evolutions and receive a certificate.
