Local Emergency Training Specialists can provide the necessary compliance burns to meet the requirments of the Firefighter I & II program. Live Fire evolutions that include Structural Firefighting, Vehicle Firefighting, Flammable Liquids and Foam, Class B Extinguishers, and the Propane required burn. LETS will provide a Missouri qualified evaluator to evaluate the students in the Firefighter I & II course. This compliance package includes the fire evolutions only and does not include any classroom instructions.
Local Emergency Training Specialists will approch the Missouri Division of Fire Safety concerning the funding of this program. In July 2007 there will be additional funding from the Fireworks licenseing program, and LETS will ask the Education committe to fund this program.
